Jon is the best computer technician I've ever worked with. In my opinion, Jon is the best value Austin has to offer for a home technician. He responds immediately to his emails. He may not be able to set up an appointment immediately but he will let you know that. Often, however, I've never waited any longer than 24 hours for an appointment. Guess it is true that you don't hire a "geek" when you need a pro -- especially one who charges half the price and even includes an unexpected senior discount. I called a popular repair outfit with multiple locations, and after their dispatcher (out of state?) checked for 70 miles around, said they could get my Internet connection back in about a week. *gleep*
Computer Pro to the rescue. Jon showed up the next day, fixed the Internet problem and more swiftly and efficiently. Answered questions. Hooked up my printer. Untangled stuff. Solved a number of other problems. Made recommendations. And then he came back two days later when I had a separate Internet crash. No charge, he said, after showing up the same day I called to beg for more help. Claimed the second house call was covered under his personal service warranty.
He did not leave me unconnected for the better part of a week, but came at once, diagnosed the problems, fixed them quickly, and helpfully answered all my many questions. Way to go! Jon made the process seem as easy as if I were just borrowing a cup of sugar. Wonderful. Felt more like a neighbor helping out than some big deal inconvenience of an overpriced house call -- and then followed up just as fast for my second round of separate problems. Wonderful.

7/13/2018 I needed help with a number of home office IT issues, including the setup of a new system, trouble shooting one of two laptops, backup and data restoration, and a few quality related tips. Jon of Computer Pro took care of the my list and did even more, without asking or charging. 12/05/2018 I needed help with a computer that continued to crash. Jon contacted me by email, we worked out a time and he came to help me out in a big way. I later needed to remove and install a new high end graphics card. He was there the day after Christmas to help me out--A true Pro! It was easy, convenient, and a great price.
